With a passion for thinking outside the box, Coastal Tech began as my solo venture to bring enterprise-level IT and security expertise to small businesses that need it most. I wear every hat—from hands-on troubleshooting to cybersecurity strategy—while building tools like SecurePay Shield to keep clients safe from modern threats. While it’s just me at the helm today, my vision is clear: to grow Coastal Tech into a trusted local partner where innovation and security meet, helping small businesses thrive with confidence.
Our history
Coastal Tech was born out of both experience and conviction.
After more than 15 years working in enterprise IT and security — navigating policies, procedures, and environments that often felt more focused on corporate gain than people — I realized I wanted something different.
I’m a builder and a problem-solver at heart, but I’m also deeply relational. I don’t find purpose in helping a Fortune 500 company squeeze out another dollar for its shareholders. I find purpose in sitting across the table from a business owner, listening to their challenges, and giving them tools and protections that make a real difference.
That conviction grew alongside my faith. I’ve seen firsthand what happens when organizations chase worldly success at the expense of people and integrity. Coastal Tech was founded as the opposite: a faith-based company that exists to serve, to protect, and to glorify God through the work we do. Every project is guided by that mission.
It was also shaped by my family. I wanted to build something that not only provided for them but also allowed me to be present — to avoid the trap I’d seen so many fall into of working endless hours, chasing titles, and missing the moments that matter most.
What started as a simple side project helping small businesses is now growing into something more. I’ve signed my first client and am laying the foundation for a true IT and cybersecurity partner for SMBs. We’re building, step by step, and I’m excited to see where God leads this journey.
